Shareholders'Committee
Mr. R. Hazel hoff, member of the Managing
Board, was appointed chairman in succession to
Dr. Batenburg with effect from 1 May 1985.
Mr. P. Ribourdouille, Chief General Manager,
Directorate Administration, was appointed to
the Managing Board with effect from the same
date.
Mr. C. J. van Beusekom, Chief General
Manager, Chairman of the International Loan
Committee, retired on 1 September 1985, and
was followed on 1 December by
Mr. G. C. Strübbe, Chief General Manager,
Directorate Personnel.
The expertise contributed by these two gentle
men, in the areas of foreign credits and social
problems respectively, was of great value to the
Bank.
Mr. R. P. A. Meyer was appointed Chief
General Manager, Chairman of the
International Loan Committee, with effect from
1 September 1985, while Mr. J. J. Oyevaar was
appointed Chief General Manager, Directorate
Personnel, with effect from 1 December 1985.
The Shareholders' Committee consists of
Mr. P. Adriaanse, Mrs. H. J. M. van Boxtel,
Mr. J. Dutilh, Mr. P. L. Dijk, Mr. J. G. N. de
Hoop Scheffer, Mrs. E. Korthuis-Elion and
Mr. K. Staab.
As provided for in Article 24 of the Articles of
Association of the Bank, Mr. D. de Bruyne,
chairman of the Supervisory Board, also acts as
chairman of the Shareholders' Committee.
The Committee, having been elected by the
Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on
2 May 1984 for a period of two years
commencing on 1 Junp 1984, is due to resign
on 1 June 1986.
The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
will be recommended to elect a new
Shareholders' Committee for a period of two
years and to vest the Committee with the powers
and obligations set out in Article 24 of the
Articles-of Association.
On 6 May 1985, the retiring Chairman of the Managing Board,
Dr. A. Batenburg, was presented by the Minister of Finance
Dr. H. O. C. R. Ruding with the decorations appropriate to the
Commandership of the Order of Oranje Nassau.
Dr. Batenburg's successor, Mr. R. Hazelhojf, is seen here
expressing good wishes to him on his appointment to the status
of Commander.
